Taylor Welcomes Steven Hickey and Tim Vandevelt to Their Project Management and Supervisory Teams

Steven Joins the Growing Contractor as Project Manager, and Tim as Superintendent

TAYLOR is proud to announce the addition of Steven Hickey and Timothy Vandevelt to their project management and project supervisory teams respectively. Mr. Hickey has been hired as a new Project Manager to assist in estimating, planning, scheduling, and coordination in all phases of select TAYLOR projects. Mr. Vandevelt has been hired as a new Project Superintendent for extensive on-site construction supervision.

Steven joins the TAYLOR team after recently graduating from Alfred State College with Bachelor of Science degrees in Architecture Technology, and Construction Management Engineering Technology. He joins the experienced Project Management Team to assist in estimating, planning, scheduling, and coordination in all phases of select TAYLOR projects, including job cost accounting and billing procedures, liaison with the owner, architects, subcontractors and suppliers. Steven will use his previous internship experience with Buffalo-based Resetarits Construction, and his architectural study experience in Sorrento, Italy to jump-start his career in the construction industry.

Tim joins the TAYLOR team after spending the last ten years with East Rochester-based General Contractor, DGA Builders. He joins the experienced Supervisory Team to coordinate site construction activities and supervise all field personnel as required to successfully complete select TAYLOR projects, on schedule and within budget. First starting out as a carpenter on small remodel jobs, moving into rapid training as a Superintendent; Tim has compiled a long list of successfully completed projects over his 16 year career, which he will continue to increase at TAYLOR.
